Jobs are jobs. We expect you to take them seriously, to a degree. But, what do we do as a worker? Or as an Officer? You can find out here.
- Workers. Workers work for the Host of a game. In an Airplane, you can work either as the Co-Pilot, who tries to fix the problem the Pilot dreamt up, or as a Steward(ess), who tries to keep control of the cabin. In a Hotel, the Bellhop shows the others to their rooms, and occasionally messes with them a bit. In a school, the worker is the Teacher, who teaches either complete facts or complete nonsense and tries to catch the students goofing off.
To become a worker, formally request the Grandmaster of Games.
- Hosts. They are the heart of the system. As a host, you donate your estate so that a game can function and run the game as the rules dictate. Also, if anybody earns any Merits besides you, contact the Grandmaster of Games so that they get paid. If you are host enough, you might get lucky, and earn a Crown.
To become a host, formally request the Grandmaster of Games.
- Add-Me. Add-Mes are the toons that pay for the parties that the others win with their own jellybeans. So, they must be ready and willing to spend varying amounts of jellybeans, in the thousands, also. They will stand outside near the fishing pond in a random place in Toontown, posted every month, with the thought bubble, "PASSWORD" over their head. The passwords are changed every month. After a Toon gives the correct password, through a whisper, the Add-Me looks up how many credits they have and see if they can make the party that the other Toon pleases. If two or three toons want different levels of parties that have to be scheduled at the same time, the highest level wins out.
To become an Add-Me, formally request the Admiral of Add-Mes.
- Administrator. Admins are the health inspectors of the guild. They will be assigned random games and will have to go inspect them. For all intents and purposes, they will be players for that time period. They will receive all due rewards and, in the case of competitive games, will be evicted if need be. Administrators may also be workers. Administrators, after the game is over, will file a report to the Ace of Administrators. 5% of the guild is always Administrators. Administrators will have to follow the rules like everybody else, but may act like the others in their group. Administrators may give out special guild currency, Tokens, once a week.
Administrators are chosen randomly by the Grandmaster of Games in coordination with the Ace of Administrators.
- Officer. There are three officers, and their jobs are the following:
- The Sergeant of Scheduling. Although you submit the times you are available to the Grandmaster of Games, the Sergeant of Scheduling is the one officially in charge of setting up the schedule.
- The Admiral of Administrators. The Ace will collect reports from the Administrators about different games and how well the hosts did at setting them up. Then the Ace will file an overall report of guild performance along with a list summarizing the Administrator's reports. Then the Grandmaster will contact the mentioned hosts to hand out punishments or rewards as necessary. The Ace is responsible for handing out discipline among the Administrator population.
- The Ace of Add-Mes. The Admiral will organize the list of Add-Me applications and coordinate it with the Sergeant of Scheduling. The Admiral is also responsible for discipline among the Add-Me population.
- Officers will hand out Crowns once a month to the Toons who perform exceptionally.
To become an Officer, you must earn three Crowns and then beat all three Officers in a special game set up by the Grandmaster.
- The Grandmaster of Games. The Grandmaster is responsible for helping coordinate the schedule with the Sergeant of Scheduling, updating the website, disciplining the majority of the guild, and making sure everything runs smoothly. If you have questions or concerns about the guild, ask him.
The Grandmaster is only replaced when he resigns.
